Effective January 1, 2024 - 3 year contract
The method for billing will include the following Hudson Fire Department Expenses:
January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024
Quarterly Ambulance Responses to Litchfield multiplied by $175.00 per call
January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025
Quarterly Ambulance Responses to Litchfield multiplied by $195.00 per call
January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026
Quarterly Ambulance Responses to Litchfield multiplied by $215.00 per call
Proposed Dispatch Agreement with Town of Hudson
Hudson Fire Department agrees to dispatch calls for the Town of Litchfield on a twenty-four(24) hour basis.
Base on a cost per call basis as detailed below:
January 1, 2024 $15.00 per call dispatched
January 1, 2025 $17.00 per call dispatched
January 1, 2026 $19.00 per call dispatched
Assessed Annually, Billed biannually

The Annual MS4 report is completed and being filed with the EPA.
Reminder: Highway Department along with Comprehensive Environmental, Inc. (CEI) is offering a Level of Service (LOS) Workshop on October 24 th from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Community Room of the Fire Department at 10 Liberty Way.
This is a public meeting and members of the public are welcome to attend.

Hillcrest Water expansion Project: Water main installation will not be completed until summer of 2024
Materials procurement will take 3-4 weeks , Pennichuck will communicate with the homeowners and send them project information including a water service application. As we have done on past projects, the contractor can install the water services into the homes during the winter months even if no water main is in the street until later spring/summer.
The MS-1 Inventory Valuation of Town Land was updated and resubmitted to the NH Department of Revenue on Friday, Sept. 15th due cycled inspections which were completed and entered after Sept. 1st. As you can see below, we picked up $639,300 dollars in value, now only $59,703 lower than 2022.
