Acceptance of Grant Funds
Pursuant to RSA 31:95-b,
Acceptance of a Granite State Clean Fleets Grant in the amount of $299,875 ($239,900k state / $59,975k town) to purchase a 2024 Plow Truck as approved in the grant proposal.
Motion: I make a motion to accept and authorize the Town of Litchfield , pursuant to RSA 31:95-b, to enter into a NH Clean Diesel Program Grant Agreement with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, Air Resources Division in the amount of $299,875, of which $239,900 would be reimbursed from the grant and $59,975 will come from the Public Works Expendable Trust Fund. I further motion to authorize Kim Kleiner, Town Administrator , to enter into said agreement on behalf of the Town of Litchfield and to execute any documents which may, in their judgement, be desirable or necessary to effect the purpose of this vote.

The Ordinance will prohibit non-stormwater
discharges into the town’s small municipal separate storm sewer system (MS-4) and establish enforcement procedures. This ordinance is required per the Town's General Permit for Stormwater
Discharges from Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems in New Hampshire (MS4 General Permit)
