MOTION TO APPROVE the minutes from the August 28th Board of Selectmen Meeting 

Jayson Brennen, Chair of the Conservation committee.   Discussion on Trail system on Town Land.

  Discussion on the trail located on town property that was built per BOS approval a few years ago.  Located on town land adjacent to the Litchfield State Forest connecting to a larger trail system.  Some trail folks in town would like to do some maintenance on it and do some slight rerouting to smooth it out.   Looking for the Board's approval.

Motion to approve the Hawker/Peddler application for Wagon Wheels LLC and waive the $100.  application fee.

Approved by LPD, and Health officer, reviewed and recommended by Town staff

TOWN ADMINISTRATOR REPORT

Department Updates: 

CERT Team - the Fire Chief will have more information at the September 25th meeting but announcements for volunteers is tentatively scheduled for first week of October and an information session at the Fire Open House on Saturday Oct 14th 1pm-4pm.

Negotiations with the AFSCME Local 3657 Litchfield Police Department are scheduled to begin later this week.

The NHMA has released the Town Meeting important dates calendar for SB2 towns, a copy is below.

A preliminary report of the Water Study is being prepared and will be reviewed with more information for Board in October.

I make a motion to enter non-public session under


 RSA 91-A:3, II

(a) The dismissal, promotion, or compensation of any public employee or the disciplining of such employee, or the investigation of any charges against him or her, unless the employee affected (1) has a right to a meeting and (2) requests that the meeting be open, in which case the request shall be granted. 

(b) The hiring of any person as a public employee.
